Summer Party August 3 – Back to the Beach at Sea Country Senior & Community Center

Welcome to Sea Country Senior & Community Center.  Sea Country is operated by the City of Laguna Niguel Parks and Recreation Department.  Dedicated June 25, 1994 and expanded and remodeled in 2010, Sea Country is a 25,000 square foot multi-use facility.  

Dedicated as a senior center during weekday hours (9 am – 4 pm) for the 50+ population, Sea Country also offers classes and events for the Community, as scheduled, during weeknights (6 pm – 10 pm) and on weekend mornings.  During evening and weekend hours, the Center is also available for the community to use on a private basis by renting rooms for parties, receptions, meetings, seminars, and other private functions.  

No membership is required to attend the facility and many of the senior activities are offered at low or no cost.  The Center offers a wide variety of activities for older adults including:  educational classes, recreational classes, games and social activities, health & wellness presentations, exercise & fitness classes, special events, trips/excursions, and senior services.  When necessary, some programs may require participants to be 60 years of age or older. 

Sea Country’s interior design brings the outdoors inside.  With the feel of nature, Sea Country’s Urban California Design is elegantly classic and beautiful.   The facility features two beautiful Ballrooms with accompanying Kitchens and a lovely Courtyard.  The facility also features smaller meeting rooms for classes and gatherings, as well as other enjoyable amenities including:  a Library, a Lounge, a Billiards room, a Computer Lab, a Gift Shop, and its newest feature – a Fitness Center.

The City publishes a free quarterly Newsletter/Activity Guide promoting an extensive variety of programs, social activities, classes, and special events held on a quarterly basis.  Just pick up a copy at the front desk or call (949) 425-5151 to have one mailed to you.
