
INDULGE YOUR TASTEBUDS IN LUXURY WITH THE RITZ-CARLTON, LAGUNA NIGUEL AT THE FESTIVAL OF ARTS SUNDAY AUGUST 12
LAGUNA BEACH, CA (August 3, 2012) — On Sunday, August 12 from 1-2pm Festival of Arts visitors will get a taste of luxury when Executive Chef Andres Jimenez from enoSTEAK at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel makes a visit to demonstrate his skills and share his flavors.
Executive Chef Andres Jimenez joined The Ritz-Carlton in 2010. Throughout his tenure with the resort, Chef Jimenez has served as executive chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver and acting executive sous chef and chef de cuisine at The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne. While in Key Biscayne, he was responsible for all culinary operation of Aria Restaurant, which was selected as one of “America’s 50 Best Hotel Restaurants” by Food & Wine. He was also instrumental in the launch and re-conception of the Cantina Beach and Cioppino Restaurant, which was named one of “America’s Best News Restaurants” by Esquire. Jimenez’s career also includes positions as chef de cuisine, specialty chef, and head pastry chef in locations including the West Indies, Costa Rica and France.
enoSTEAK, located at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, is an intimate steakhouse featuring only the highest quality ingredients. Steaks are from prime and grass-fed, pasture-raised beef, while organic produce is grown locally and harvested at the peak of the season. enoSTEAK also highlights artisanal cheeses, charcuterie and a large selection of fine wines.
“Each week Festival visitors get the opportunity to not only meet, but sample food and get recipes from some of the best chefs in the area,” said Susan Davis, director of special events for the Festival of Arts. “We’re honored to have Chef Jimenez and The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel as part of this great series!”
Foodies rejoice every Sunday at the Festival of Arts as “Art of Cooking” continues. Every Sunday from 1pm-2pm, this special event series takes place on the Festival of Arts green and is free with Festival admission.

The Festival of Arts is open daily from July 1 – August 31, 2012, from 10am to 11:30pm (August 25, 10am to 3:30pm). General Admission: Weekdays $7, Weekends $10; Students & Seniors: Weekdays $4, Weekends $6; Free Admission for Children 12 and under, Military, and Laguna Beach Residents.
