***9/15 Coastal Clean-up Day***
Come join Malcom families and teachers in keeping our beach clean and safe on Coastal Clean-up Day. Show up at Salt Creek Beach anytime between 9 am and Noon. We will meet on the sand at the bottom of the steps. Bags will be provided, but please bring your own gloves. Malcom students who participate will receive a Magnificent Malcom Mariner award when they are done. This is a wonderful way to “Make a Difference in Ourselves and in our World”!
***9/21 Back-To-School Celebration***
Aloha Malcom Mariners! Join us Friday, September 21st to welcome another awesome year at Malcom! Come dressed in your favorite luau attire. There will be a DJ and shaved ice provided by Hula Girls Shave Ice. Festivities will be from 5:30PM – 7:30PM in the harbor area. Shaved ice, $3.00, waters, $1.00. Volunteers are needed for set-up, tear-down and concessions. If you’d like to help, please contact Erika Ritchie at ritchieerika@gmail.com.
***9/27 Family Science Night***
Malcom’s first Family Science Night for the 2012-2013 school year is Thursday, September 27th from 6:00PM – 7:30PM. (Doors open at 5:45 p.m.) A variety of centers will focus on a look at life from the world of plants. A donation of $5.00 per family is suggested to help cover the cost of the materials.
