Thrills, chills, anguish, romance and great music! For one night only, the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall converts into an old Hollywood silent-movie house where the extraordinary original 1925 movie adaptation of “The Phantom of the Opera” — presented on the big screen in all of its vintage glory — is accompanied by Dennis James on the magnificent William J. Gillespie Concert Organ. 

The film captivated and terrorized the audiences of the day with its cutting-edge special effects and the horrific makeup that Lon Chaney himself — known as “the man of a thousand faces” — created for his character.
