Alternative Spring Break Gives College Students a Unique Community Service Opportunity
This Friday, March 1st, 16 Soka University students will be hosting a car wash to fundraise for their trip to Detroit, Michigan the week of March 17th.
On the trip—part of Soka’s Alternative Spring Break program—they will volunteer around the theme of community revitalization, working with children and the homeless, as well as on sustainability projects such as community gardens.
Cost of a REAL HAND CARWASH – a donation of your choice to help the students pay their own way to Detroit.
