The Ken Garcia Band will grace the Aliso Viejo Conference Center stage from 6 to 9 p.m. at 31 Santa Barbara Drive. Ken’s music is described as a combination of soulful folk rock with a Latin and Hawaiian flavor. He and his band are a staple in the local music scene. Cost is $15 per person with advance online registration or $20 cash at the door. The fee includes two tacos and a house specialty drink. Try Zumba for Free
Ready to try a new twist on your favorite Zumba fitness class at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center? Now you can check out the classic aqua aerobics with a Latin flare for free.
The classes take place each Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Aquatic Center located at 29 Santa Barbara, just off Golf Drive and Glenwood. Simply mention Promo Code: Zumba 2013 to get a free trial class.
This low-impact program is designed for anyone who can follow instructions and manage being in the water. Unlike regular water aerobics, which are linear exercises from one point to another, Aqua Zumba involves different movements for the verse, chorus and bridge of each song. It’s an easy-to-follow, calorie-burning dance fitness party that makes working out a splash!
To enroll in Aqua Zumba, contact Nicole Matthews at 949-616-4704. Pricing varies based on the number of classes you register for. Aquatic Center season or family pass holders will receive a 30 percent discount on the classes.
