Mama’s on 39 will scoop up 5-cent, free Thrifty’s ice cream Tuesday
The restaurant promotion is designed to celebrate summer and support the nonprofit foundation, whose mission is to cure pediatric brain cancer.
Mama’s on 39 serves farm-fresh American comfort foods with a culinary twist – tempting diners seeking delectable lunch, dinner fare and a unique brunch all day Saturday and Sunday. The restaurant also serves eight Thrifty’s ice cream flavors and feel-good foods.
This latest fundraising endeavor continues the eatery’s goal of regularly giving back to nonprofit organizations in the area. Over the past several months, Mama’s on 39 has donated more than $30,000 to nonprofit organizations, local schools and groups through its “Give Back Days.” Through the program, Mama’s on 39 donates back up to 30 percent of the designated proceeds when groups spend an evening at the eatery on the corner of Beach Blvd. and Atlanta Ave.
The scoops will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 21022 Beach Blvd.
