HB Playhouse presents: “Bye Bye Birdie” with music by Chares, Strouse, lyrics by Lee Adams, and book by Michael Stewart is a charming musical about a young rock star who is entering the army, the teens who idolize him, the frantic parents who are confused by whole situation, and the agent and his assistant who discover love.
Add to that the agent’s controlling mother, and all the ingredients are there for a laugh, music, and fun filled evening.
Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8:00 and Sunday at 3:00 , starting July 19 and runs through august 11th.
