The public is invited to attend National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Aliso Viejo Police Services, Target and Laguna Hills Police Services are teaming up to host the free family safety event from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Laguna Hills Community Center, 25555 Alicia Parkway.

National Night Out will feature child safety games; police and fire vehicles; Sheriff’s Search & Rescue Bloodhounds; Crime Scene Investigations; family safety; crime prevention; emergency preparedness; and child face painting along with food and beverages.

National Night Out is a community event to raise awareness about family safety, crime prevention and emergency preparedness.
