Elks Lodge Celebrates 43rd Anniversary
The Lodge anniversary BBQ party was organized and BBQ prepared and served by the Past President’s Association of the Elks Lodge. Current Lodge president Jason Spence said of the event, “It’s a rare treat to see our members kick back and have an event just for themselves. They are usually busy working at events for or to raise funds for others. October will be another busy month with our fundraising Rally for Developmentally Challenged Children, our Halloween dinner dance for seniors and a big OCF-OCF Cancer Kids fundraiser.” Spence added, “…but that’s what Elks do.”
