GUIDANCE / SENIOR INFORMATION
Math Tutoring available through Saddleback College After-School Experience program. After school mathematics tutoring for students enrolled in high school mathematics courses (Algebra through AP Calculus). Once enrolled, you may come as often as you want during the six week period. This is a drop-in program; no need to call ahead. Students from other secondary schools in CUSD are welcome. Homecoming Dance – Oct. 26, 7pm – 11pm
Homecoming Tickets are still on sale. This week our price is $35 with ASB and $45 without. This is an all school dance, all grades are welcome. Please come by the ASB office before school, passing, lunch and after school to purchase your ticket. Seniors: If you purchased the “black card” your ticket is included. You only need your ID card to get into the dance. We are expecting this dance to sell out, so don’t wait….buy your ticket today. You can purchase online at the marketplace, check the website for more information. Come with your friends and have a “haunted” good time.
The dance is semi-formal and no costumes are allowed. The dance starts at 7pm and ends at 11pm and will be right here on our own “haunted” campus…… be here or BEWARE!

PTSA Meeting:
Our next membership meeting is Wed. October 9th at 7 pm in the Staff Lounge. Everyone is welcome. By coming to PTSA meetings, you participate in decisions that directly impact students at ANHS. Mr. Carter will give an informative report about what is going on at ANHS. Visit the ANHS PTSA website for a copy of the agenda.
National PTA Reflections Program:
Consider participating in the National PTA’s Arts Recognition Program. This year’s theme is “Believe Dream, Inspire……” The Arts areas available include: Literature, Photography, Visual Arts, Musical Composition, Dance Choreography and Film Production. Divisions include Traditional Grade Divisions and Special Artist Division (for those with a disability as defined under the ADA). Information and forms are available in the Guidance Office or here. Entries are due (in Guidance Office) by October 14th for judging and awards. Any questions, please call Chris Taylor at 949-285-3910.

- Teen Driving- UPS Road Code Tue. Oct.8th, 4-7 pm at Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach. This a free educational event where teens learn about the dangers of distracted driving from UPS’s safe-driving experts, including a state-of-the-art driving simulator. - Drug Summit- Drugs Don’t Discriminate. What you Don’t Know Could Result in Tragedy! Wed. Oct. 16 from 6-8:30pm at Laguna Niguel City Hall. This event is free. Both parents and teens are encouraged to attend. See flyer for more information.
