OPEN HOUSE – ARTS & LEARNING CONSERVATORY, SANTA ANA
Arts & Learning Conservatory opens its doors to the community Sunday, January 19 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Santa Ana, CA — What better way for a family to be together on a Sunday afternoon than exploring the world of theater arts during Arts & Learning Conservatory’s (A&L) Open House on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The free event is an opportunity to learn about the Conservatory’s programs for ages 5-13 in music, dance, theater, costume design, creative writing, and instrumental music.
This Open House held at the Arts & Learning Conservatory’s studio headquarters includes: tours, performances, demonstrations, hands-on activities, bounce houses, plus face painting to inspire and engage all in attendance. Information about the Conservatory’s programs, classes, performances, and scholarship opportunities will also be available.
Events begin at 2 p.m. with a Welcome Presentation continuing with non-stop interactive, hands-on activities until 5 p.m. including the following:
· Student musical theater showcase, acting workshop
· Stage combat and theater “games” presentations
· Dance improvisation workshop
· Costume design workshop
· String ensemble presentation
· Plus passports for students to visit classes
