Newhart teachers have voted our ASB,8th grade Math and ELD coordinator as their 2014 Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Grant came to Newhart three years ago after teaching nine years in CUSD Elementary. This is her 12th year of teaching. Mrs. Grant has a unique job here at Newhart where she works with students who need the most help and support in her ELD class as well as working with ASB students who every day plan events to enhance every student’s experiences at Newhart. She is passionate about her work and has told me that she feels lucky that she gets to do what she loves every day!
Mrs. Grant is very proud to be a Newhart Panther and is definitely one of our amazing teachers! Mrs. Grant will be honored by the district at a special ceremony in April.
