Mission Viejo, CA – On Tuesday, February 18th, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to unveil the newest computer lab on the first floor of the Learning Resource Center at Saddleback College.
Bart McHenry, Dean of Fine Arts and Media Technology, and Anthony Maciel, Director, Technology Services/Broadcast Systems, congratulated Mark Kruhmin (Cinema-Television-Radio), Agustin Espinoza (Innovative Technology), Ken Kinder (Photography), and Maria Lakow (Innovative Technology) for their outstanding work in setting up the space.
This innovative new lab will be used for computer classes in the arts including music composition, cinema editing, theatrical scenic design, photography, and art. Dean McHenry is excited to note that this facility launches media convergence at Saddleback College where students in the arts from various disciplines can work together on numerous projects.
Fine Arts and Media Technology at Saddleback College is the place where creativity, ingenuity, and vision are given free rein and no constraints are placed on the imagination. Departments include: Art, Art History, Cinema/Television /Radio, Music, Photography, Speech, and Theatre.
