In an effort to benefit the community, the Aliso Viejo Family Resource Center is teaming up with Doctor’s Ambulance to host a free cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) class on Saturday, March 22.
The training is from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Family Resource Center at 23671 Via Iglesia.
The Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult, Child and Infant training will teach people critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.
The adult and child CPR training is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with an optional infant CPR from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Participants will receive and American Heart Association Student Workbook, and those who can demonstrate the necessary CPR skills will receive an American Heart Association Certification Card valid for two years.
