The Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center is now accepting applications for its 2014 season, which kicks off with a spectacular pool party on Saturday, May 3.
Roughly two dozen lifeguard positions – both morning and afternoon shifts – are available along with cashier positions and snack bar cooks for the season that will run through September 28.
The Aquatic Center is a resort-style complex overlooking the golf course at 29 Santa Barbara. The center features a swim team, swim lessons, lap and recreational swim, private pool parties and numerous activities and events throughout the season. The center boasts a junior Olympic 5-lane lap pool, recreational pool, children’s wading pool, toddler splash pad, adult whirl pool, Oasis Cafe, locker facilities, restrooms, and a patio with an outdoor patio fireplace.
Lifeguard candidates, age 17 and older, should be certified and experienced. The salary range for lifeguards is $10-$12 per hour. Cashiers will be paid $9-$10 and snack bar cooks will make $10-$11 per hour. New employees will begin at the end of this month to be ready for the center’s grand opening.
Folks who are interested should contact Brandon Huxford at 949-425-2556 or e-mail avaquatics@kempersports.com.
