Local Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, school and sports groups and other youth organizations interested in the opportunity to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of City Council meetings are encouraged to contact City Hall.
For the past several years, different youth organizations have been starting each City Council meeting by leading the Council and members of the public in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
