Exclusive Collections Gallery announces a solo art show for Master Artist Royo and a new art collection of original oil paintings
Exclusive Collections Galleries (EC Galleries) is honored to announce that Master Artist Royo will host a solo exhibition in Laguna Beach for two days on September 19-20 (6pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday).
This is the first visit that internationally-renowned artist Royo will make to EC Gallery in Laguna Beach. Royo’s original oil paintings will be paired with a free-to-attend champagne reception and live music at the gallery on 417 South Coast Highway.
Royo’s impressionist technique uses color and texture to tell a story about life in his native country of Spain. Bright, saturated hues capture the intensity and light that is indicative of the Mediterranean.
Born in Valencia, Royo studied such masters as Velázquez, Goya and Monet at San Carlos Royal Academy of Fine Arts and has been compared to such renowned painters as Auguste Renoir and Joaquin Sorolla.
His prestigious reputation in the art world has earned him commissions to paint the royal portraits of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, as well as other prominent political and social figures. His artwork now graces museums, galleries and private collections worldwide.
