Eleven new members were initiated into the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in July.
The new Elks joining The Mission Viejo Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge were Mission Viejo residents James Asch, Trevor Bills, Gary Everson, David Perry, and Beverlee Richmond.
Joining from Laguna Hills were Mercedes Muros. Dennis Andrews. Also becoming members were Tim Carlson from Trabuco Canyon, and Eric Busby of Foothill Ranch.
Janyce Girard, and Barbara Kish transferred from the Arcadia Elks Lodge. Exalted Ruler Derrek Randles of Laguna Hills presided over the time-honored ritual of initiation.
He congratulated the new members saying, “Welcome to our happy Lodge. You made a wise decision in joining an organization that does so much in the community for charity and manages to have fun doing it.”
