The 2014 Junior Art Awards Ceremony was held Sunday on the Festival of Arts grounds. The winners were acknowledged, honored and presented with gold, silver and bronze medallions by Sarah Middleton, Executive Director of The PIMCO Foundation and Festival of Arts President Fred Sattler.

The students’ teachers were also recognized with certificates of appreciation. Hundreds of friends, family members and art instructors turn out to support and congratulate the recipients of the Junior Art Awards. Fred Sattler presented a token of appreciation to The PIMCO Foundation for their six-year support of the Junior Art exhibit – an original piece of art designed by Festival of Arts exhibitor Mike Tauber.

“The Junior Art exhibit has become not only a showcase for young Orange County student artists, but also a vivid testimonial to the value and importance of continuing arts education in our school systems,” said Festival of Arts President Fred Sattler.

The 2014 Junior Art Exhibit is presented by the Festival of Arts and funded in part by The PIMCO Foundation. The Festival of Arts is a non-profit organization. Proceeds support the arts and art education in and about Laguna Beach.www.LagunaFestivalofArts.org.
