Aliso Family,
Great news for the winter sports as the season slowly winds down and we gear up for spring.
This past weekend Aliso Niguel qualified our first ever wrestler, Brandon Huxford, for the CIF State Championships. Brandon and Coach Orndorff will be traveling to Bakersfield on Friday for the finals where Brandon will be competing in the 140lbs. weight class. He’s already had a tremendous season finishing 3rd overall in the CIF Southern Section Championships and any result beyond this point is icing on the cake. Both Brandon and Coach Orndorff have worked hard the past four year and it’s great to see the results.
Next, our girl’s soccer team will be traveling to Los Alamitos HS tomorrow for the CIF semi-final round of the Division I playoffs. Game time is 3:00pm and the address for the school where they play (don’t play on campus) is 10293 Bloomfield St, Los Alamitos, 90720. They have informed me that no bleacher seating is available therefore if you do plan on attending please remember to bring your own chair.
