Open auditions for Saddleback College’s Spring 2015 Theatre Arts productions of Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Bonnie & Clyde, Talking With…, and a Staged Reading ofHigh Fidelity will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 27th and 28th. at 6:00 p.m.
Callbacks will be held Thursday and Friday, January 29th and 30that 6:00 p.m. All auditions will be held in the McKinney Theatre, Saddleback College, 28000 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo. Additional information for each show can be found on the same website. For Bonnie & Clyde, please bring sheet music in correct key (16-32 bars), and be familiar with the score.
An accompanist will be provided. For both non-musicals and musicals, a one-minute monologue is required for each audition. Monologues will be provided for those who do not have one prepared. The Saddleback College Theatre Arts program produces several fully-staged shows in which students are encouraged to participate. Theatre Arts students are given the opportunity to audition for every production and they are given priority in the casting process. In addition there are numerous opportunities are also provided for students to contribute in backstage activities of all college productions.
