The city of Aliso Viejo will host its annual Snow Fest event on Saturday, Jan. 24. More than 55 tons of snow will transform Grand Park into a winter wonderland with long and short sled runs and a snow exploration area for children 5 and under.
Pre-event registration is required and begins for Aliso Viejoresidents only on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers at 12 Journey. If space is still available, registration continues for Aliso Viejo residents Monday, Dec. 15 and Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. If tickets are still available, open registration for both Aliso Viejo and non-AV residents begins on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Aliso Viejo residents must bring a driver’s license or utility bill for proof of residency. Cash or checks will be accepted only. For liability reasons, all registration forms must be completed by families participating.
Wristbands are $5 per person for a 1.25-hour session of snow play and sledding. Children age one and under are free with a paid adult. Sessions are 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.; 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.; and 1:45 to 3 p.m.
