Boy Scout Kevin Coulson completes project to put him in line to receive Eagle

Date:

Eagle Scout December 2 2014It’s been said that one person can make a difference. Kevin Coulson knows this is true. The Boy Scout recently completed a City project that has put him in line to receive the Eagle Scout ranking, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America.

On Saturday, Kevin of Troop 615 organized about 15 volunteers to install lodge pole fencing along a walking trail at the new La Paws Park.

Kevin’s efforts have benefitted the park that sits on 6 acres at the eastern edge of the City along Felipe Road just south of Gilleran Park. The City is grateful for his efforts.

For information about conducting similar volunteer projects, contact Jerry Hill at 949-470-3064 orjhill@cityofmissionviejo.org.
