Carl St.Clair welcomes pianist Alain Lefèvre
Savor two giant works of the repertoire! First, Music Director Carl St.Clair leads Beethoven’s joyful Symphony No. 7, which the composer himself called “one of my best works.” Then, award-winning pianist Alain Lefèvre displays his phenomenal technique in Rachmaninoff’s ever-popular Piano Concerto No. 2.

The concert opens with a world premiere by Composer-in-Residence Narong Prangcharoen, who offers a musical tribute to the maestro with his piece, “Illuminating Journey,” which honors St.Clair’s 25th anniversary with the orchestra.
