Art educators listen up: If you have ever wanted to learn how to make your art programs stand out, sign up for the Circle Painting Workshop with artist Hiep Nguyen.
The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. January 24 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 24932 Veterans Way.
Designed especially for K-12 art teachers, this fun-filled workshop will leave participants feeling connected and inspired and with an array of artwork samples and remarkable projects for their 2015 classes.
Hiep Nguyen is the founder of the nonprofit Circle Painting, which is composed of artists, teachers and community leaders who are devoted to community-based art. Known for his talent as an artist and instructor, Hiep has traveled throughout the country and around the world, bringing creativity and the joy of collaborative painting to people of all ages.
Cost for the workshop is $135.
