The City Council on Feb. 18 will conduct a public hearing to consider adopting a draft environmental document for the proposed Aliso Viejo Ranch site development permit project.
The Aliso Viejo Ranch site is a 7-acre city property at 100 Park Avenue. The City Council will consider the environmental documentation for a potential project that could encompass a 36,500-square-foot community center that would serve as an education and activity center with classes, workshops and activities for people of all ages.
Council members could decide on a smaller-scale project at some point in the future.
Residents will be able to weigh in on the item during the 7 p.m. meeting and can submit comments in writing before the public hearing to Director of Planning Services Albert Armijo at 12 Journey, Suite 100, Aliso Viejo.
