The Ocean Institute will present a series of Gray Whale Adventure (whale watching) cruises on its 70-foot R/V Sea Explorer in April 2015. Gray whales swim over 10,000 miles annually between the Arctic and the calm, warm lagoons of Mexico, one of the longest migrations of any mammal.
The cruises will give participants an opportunity to see migrating gray whales, as well as dolphins, sea lions and other wildlife along the Southern California coastline. Join our skilled and knowledgeable crew, who will help give you a glimpse into the mysterious world of these amazing creatures. Upcoming cruises include: April 11, 12, 19, 25, 26.
Cruises are at 10 a.m. & 1 p.m. most days; check calendar online. Prices are $35 for adult, $22 for children (age 3 to 12). (Become a member of the Ocean Institute and you become eligible for discounts on cruises.)
