Clothing Drive will help local men, women enter the workforce

Date:

Clean out your closet and make a difference in the community by donating to a special clothing drive next month.

As part of National Day of Remembrance and Service, the City of Aliso Viejo Family Resource Center is teaming up with WHW to host the drive from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 10 and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, September 11 at 24671 Via Iglesia.

New and gently used business clothing for men and women is sought to support folks’ efforts to successfully enter the workforce.

WHW is a nonprofit organization devoted to providing the unemployed and underemployed with the skills and resources necessary to obtain and keep good jobs.

National Day of Remembrance and Service takes place across America to honor the victims of 9/11 with good deeds and service.

For more information about the clothing drive, contact Sandra Leone at 949-716-2230 or sleone@cityofalisoviejo.com.
