Now through January 9, 2016
Opening Reception December 12th from 11am-1pm
The Festival of Arts is pleased to announce a new exhibit entitled “Nature’s Wonder” at the Festival of Arts 3rd Floor Gallery at Wells Fargo Bank in Laguna Beach. The exhibit was inspired by the recent community-wide festival and conference, Art & Nature, presented by the Laguna Art Museum. The artwork of nearly fifteen Festival of Arts exhibitors is on display now through January 9, 2016. The public is welcome to join the artists for a free reception on Saturday, December 12, from 11am – 1pm at the Wells Fargo Bank.
The exhibit “Nature’s Wonder” focuses on Festival of Arts artists’ interpretation of nature in media that include painting, mixed media, sculpture and photography. “It is a good example of how art and nature intersect,” said exhibit curator Pat Sparkuhl. “Exhibitors represented in this show all use some aspect of nature in their creative process to produce original and thought provoking works of art.”
Participating artists include Scott Albert, Roger Bennett, Sean Hunter Brown, Sherry Ford, Robin Hall, Tom Lamb, Geri Medway, Michael Obermeyer, Casey Parlette, Gerald Schwartz, Tom Swimm, Mike Tauber, Cliff Wassmann, and Dennis Zervas.
