Mission Lutheran Hosts Drive-In Movie Saturday, Begins Summer Camp Sign-ups
April 19, 2009 (Laguna Niguel, CA)—Looking for an old-fashioned night of fun for the entire family? The Mission Lutheran Drive-In is the place for you next weekend. On Saturday, April 25, at 7 p.m., the church will turn its parking lot into a drive-in theater. Please come watch our main feature, “Because of Winn Dixie” (rated PG), and grab a few snacks at the snack bar.
Mission Lutheran also announces two summer camps, “Raz-Ma-Tazz Rhapsody” Children’s Music Camp and Vacation Bible School. Raz-Ma-Tazz Children’s Music Camp is open to students entering grades 1-8 in the fall and runs July 20-24 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The camp offers students an exciting adventure in music using singing, movement, handbell and chime ringing, and music enrichment under the guidance of a talented and highly qualified staff. A special performance by the Raz-Ma-Tazz participants is held for families and friends on Friday evening at 7 p.m. Tuition is $95, which includes a camp t-shirt and mid-morning snack. Registration is now open.
Vacation Bible School at Mission Lutheran will be held August 17-21, 9 a.m. to Noon, for children ages 4 through 4th grade. The cost is $50 per child and includes hours of crafts, games, snacks, and fun. Registration is under way.
