On May 27, Penny Prol, will be recognized at the Philharmonic Committees Annual Meeting as the Capistrano Volunteer of 2008-2009.
The committee was fortunate in 2002 to have Penny Prol join us. She immediately became a very active member by accepting the position of Design House Liaison. As Partner’s in Design this proved to be a very involved job with scheduling and ticket sales. Coming from the corporate world, Penny used her organizational skills and kept us on track for 3 years.
Penny served two terms as Co-chair of the committee, once again guiding us in the right direction. This year as Parliamentarian she had led us to revising our By-Laws and then prepared them for computer access. She also prepares the roster each year. Penny does all of this while also being a very active member of her church and community, traveling with her husband and spending as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren.
We are so pleased she has chosen us. The PHILHARMONIC COMMITTEES are found throughout Orange County and offer music programs to all Orange County schools at no cost to the schools.
