Landscape Architects Invited to Submit Projects for Consideration for 2016 Quality of Life Design Awards

The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Southern California Chapter (http://www.socal-asla.org/) is welcoming submissions for its 2016 Quality of Life Design Awards. Headquartered in Tustin, the chapter serves both Orange and Los Angeles counties. The theme of the awards is “Celebrating the Evolving Vision of California Landscapes.” Firms, individuals and public agencies responsible for outstanding works of landscape architecture and environmental planning that promote an enhanced quality of life are invited to submit their projects for consideration for the awards.
Submissions will be accepted July 1 – August 31, 2016; winners will be announced and exhibited on Thursday, October 6, at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort in Anaheim.

The American Society of Landscape Architects is the national professional association representing landscape architects. It has 17,000 members throughout the world. It promotes the landscape architecture profession and advances the practice and sustainable design through advocacy, education, communication and fellowship. There are four ASLA chapters in California, including the Southern California Chapter.
