Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks will bring its beach-inspired atmosphere to The Shops at Mission Viejo when it officially opens on Tuesday, August 16. The 5,600 square-foot restaurant, which used to house Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour, includes a 600-square-foot bar and lounge area, seating for up to 40 people and an outdoor dining area.
In honor of its opening, the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17. The restaurant is located at the mall’s entrance near P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.
Islands serves burgers, tacos, salads and fries as well as craft beers and cocktails. The store will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
