Saturday, June 13th will be the first of nine 2009 Concert on the Green performances. Throughout the summer we will have four performances from Cypress Pops Orchestra as well as five performances sponsored by Friends of Cypress Cultural Arts (FOCCA), which include Nitro Express, The Skinny Little Twits, The Answer, Dean Colley’s “Neil Diamond Tribute”, & Raymond Michael’s “Elvis Presley Tribute”.
Concerts begin at 6:00pm and are held at the Cypress Civic Center. Concerts are free to all in attendance. Free parking is available at the Civic Center parking lot. Handicapped parking is provided behind the Cypress Branch Library near the concert site. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, picnic blankets and other outdoor accessories to help enjoy music under a canopy of shade trees. Refreshments are available from local community service organizations for a small charge. Patrons are reminded that no alcoholic beverages are allowed on City property.
