CUCPTSA, which represents all of the PTAs in the school district, received the Spotlight Award for Council Leadership Development.
CUCPTSA developed a unique and successful training program, “Be Our Guest Workshop: Optimizing the Principal and PTA President Partnership for School Success.”
The Niguel Hills Middle School PTSA was selected out of 3,572 units to receive the Spotlight Award for Student Involvement for its outstanding Student PTSA Program.
The Student PTSA provides an opportunity for every child to become more involved at school and in the community, to get to know and work with other students and staff, to develop leadership skills and to become involved.
Over the past three years the program has grown to more than 480 student members with more than 100 students participating actively in the general meetings, committee meetings and volunteer programs.
