City of Aliso Viejo holiday tree arrives at Town Center

Date:

Early morning Wednesday, December 2, 2015  while the sun rose over Aliso Viejo, a spectacular 20-foot tree arrived at Town Center.  The tree is a gift to the community from the city of Aliso Viejo that is meant to capture the spirit of the holidays.

The tree was grown in the Willamette Valley near Eugene, Oregon. It is one of the longest-lasting trees and is grown specifically to be used as a Christmas tree.  It was installed in the plaza near Native Foods Cafe and Mobtown Pizza just in time for the Aliso Viejo Community Association’s Winter Holiday event on Sunday, December 6.

The Winter Holiday event is from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Grand Park/Town Center Amphitheater and includes holiday entertainment, a tree lighting ceremony and free hot chocolate and cookies.  Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for photos.

The city’s holiday tree will be lit during AVCA’s event and will remain in the plaza area throughout the holidays for the businesses and community to enjoy.

While shopping and dining at Town Center this holiday season, folks are encouraged to visit the magnificent tree and embrace its beauty.
