Cooking Demonstration and Free Lunch for Parents Aug. 4. – City of Aliso Viejo

In an effort to improve the poor eating habits of local youth and combat obesity, the Aliso Viejo Family Resource Center is joining forces with Saddleback College’s Foster & Kinship Care Education program to host a Healthy Living Cooking Demonstration and free lunch Aug. 4.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Iglesia Park Community Center, 24671 Via Iglesia.

Registered dieticians will teach parents about various food options and proper, healthy food portions. They will prepare a simple, delicious and healthy lunch that participants will enjoy at the end of the demonstration.
