Newlyweds Randi Bone and Scott Phillips of Laguna Niguel, right, were the instant winners of a Hobie stand up paddleboard during the Ocean Institute’s 2011 Million Dollar Laguna Beach Home Raffle Grand Prize drawing on November 5. The couple is pictured with Jack Schwaner, Hobie general manager, who drew the couple’s ticket. Each of the several hundred attendees at the drawing, hoping to be selected for the Grand Prize, received instant winner tickets upon arrival at the Institute. Instant winners were picked throughout the drawing, adding excitement to the event. Many lucky instant prize winners walked away with bikes, iPads, golf packages, dinners, Hobie surf equipment and more.
