Bring your ‘Mama’s’ photo to Mama’s on 39 for chance to receive $100 in free food
Through Mother’s Day, May 12, simply bring in your “best” photo of your favorite “Mama” and the eatery will post it on its famous “Mama’s Wall” and it’ll be entered into the Mama’s Day Photo Contest where 24 people who submit the most creative, unique Mama’s photos will each win a $100 Gift Card. They’ll also get forever bragging rights by having their photos mounted permanently on Mama’s Wall. Photos can be submitted in person or by e-mail (which is preferred) to ptruxaw@mamason39.com.
To boot, if you make a $10 or more donation in “your” mother’s name to the McKenna Claire Foundation – supporting the cure for pediatric brain cancer – when submitting your photo, Mama’s on 39 will give you a $25 Gift Card good for your next visit. You can make a donation at the restaurant or online at www.mckennaclairefoundation.org. Simply bring a copy of your verified donation to Mama’s on 39 to receive your $25 Gift Card.
Then on Mother’s Day, EVERY mama who celebrates her big day at the eatery will receive a $25 Gift Card good toward her next visit (one $25 gift card per family; gift card cannot be used on Mother’s Day).
The contest/fundraiser is the latest charitable endeavor by Mama’s on 39, which has donated over $20,000 to local charities in the last year.
“The McKenna Claire Foundation does outstanding work in the fight against pediatric cancer,” said Pete Truxaw, who owns the eatery with partner Tim McCune. “This promotion is our way of supporting this great organization while honoring our ‘Mamas’ on their special day and thanking our patrons for their continued support.”
To participate in the Photo Contest, photos must be no larger than 8” wide x 10” high. Submitted photos will become the property of Mama’s on 39 and can be used for future advertising and promotions. The winners (who do not need to be present) will be announced on Mother’s Day.
