RECYCLING CHALLENGE RESULTS! – Earth is the real winner!

Date:

The Malcom Mariners were engaged in a tough competition with the Moulton Hawks this year to see who could recycle the most water bottles and cans. We found out the results this morning….the winner is….MALCOM!!!! It was so close – Moulton earned a grand total of $2,078.70 and Malcom earned $2125.20 – so we won by just $46.50! Truly, we were matched with a worthy opponent!

The best part of all of this is that the Earth is the real winner! Thanks are due to Kim Zepezauer and Janet Barnett, our super recycling moms who organized Malcom’s participation in the contest, to the Moulton students and families for joining us in this fun challenge, and to all of you for supporting Malcom and Mother Earth!

The money earned is used to help provide classrooms with the materials and programs that make our two schools so great. We are planning for a rematch next year – we’ll see who the recycling champs will be then!
