Summer is here and registration is available for a host of programs that cater to local youth.
The Mission Viejo Family YMCA at 27341 Trabuco Circle is hosting ten week-long summer camps beginning with Hawaiian Hullabaloo, on June 23 and Party in the USA on June 30. In July and August the YMCA will offer eight more camps including Wild Wild West, Under the Sea and Safari Adventure.
This year’s theme is Spring Into Action! and the weekly camps incorporate cooperative games, crafts, sports, water games and swimming, and many have an educational component and guest speakers.
Camps are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon for campers ages 3-12.
