The city of Aliso Viejo is now accepting bids for its annual Slurry Seal and Rehabilitation project that is designed to extend the life of city streets. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. Feb. 13

The work includes applying slurry seal; crack sealing; removing and replacing traffic striping, markings, and raised pavement markers; street sweeping; and public notifications.

The project is estimated to be $711,000. The contractor will have 40 days to complete the work.

Contract documents are available from the city engineer, public works department at 12 Journey, Suite 100 for $45. They can also be mailed for $15.
