Vocational Visions Presents 10th Enchanted Evening Fundraiser and Honors Calisson Inc. as Employer of the Year

Irvine, Calif. – Vocational Visions presents its annual Enchanted Evening fundraiser on

Saturday, April 27 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel with the theme “An Enchanted Evening…in the

Fabulous 50s.” All proceeds directly support the programs and services of Vocational

Visions which provide vocational, economic and social services to adults with disabilities.

Calisson Inc. will be recognized at the fundraiser Vocational Visions 2013 Employer of the Year.

Vocational Visions has partnered with Calisson Inc. since late 2010 through their Work Activity Program which assembles the very popular infant teether named, Sophie the Giraffe.

Founded in 2001, Calisson Inc. specializes in the distribution of toys and accessories and are selective with both their partnerships and products. Their steady stream of orders for “Sophie” keeps the Work Activity Program working productively and professionally all year and especially busy in the months leading up to the holidays. On an ongoing basis, Calisson Inc. supports Vocational Visions participants and their earning potential with consistent dedication and production orders.

Co-chaired by community leaders Linda Baird and Linda Albers the April fundraiser will feature

a multi-course dinner, silent and live auctions and live musical entertainment by Vocational

Visions. Cocktail reception, social hour and silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by

dinner, live auction and entertainment.

 

Admission is $125 per person and sponsorship opportunities are available. The Irvine Marriott Hotel is located at 18000 Von Karman Ave in Irvine.

Based in Mission Viejo, Calif., the nonprofit organization creates possibilities for men and women with disabilities by providing on and off-site job opportunities, a variety of social programs and rehabilitation and medical assistance as needed. Annually, Vocational Visions serves over 500 individuals with a wide range of developmental and other disabilities.
